Mysteries in Daniel 12
Dan 12:1 At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book."
After the annihilation of Jerusalem and Israel by the Roman Titus, the Israelites were scattered where they dwelled amongst Christians so that they could find salvation.
After the reformation of Israel, Archangel Michael is sent to watch over the Israelites.
Dan 9:21-23 yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, "O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand. At the beginning of your supplications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision
Dan 9:24 "Seventy weeks are determined For your people and for your holy city, To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy."
God will need 490 (70x7) years more to complete His work in the salvation of the Israelites when they will finally acknowledge Jesus as their Messiah (anoint the Most Holy)
Dan 9:25-26 "Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times. And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;"
This prophecy was fulfilled when Jesus (Messiah) was crucified (cut off) for the sin of man (not for Himself) at 483 (69x7) years after King Cyrus's command to rebuild the temple of God.
Unfortunately, the Jews rejected the book of Daniel as prophetic and classified it as writing (history), so the learned Priesthood, Pharisees and leaders missed Jesus' appointed death, otherwise they would repent for their mistakes and be saved.
Destruction of Jerusalem and the temple
Dan 9:27a "And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary."
40 years after the crucifixion, the Roman General Titus completely destroyed the temple and brought Jerusalem to ruins.
The Final Week to be Fulfilled
Dan 9:27b The end of it shall be with a flood, and till the end of the war desolations are determined. Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate."
The final seven years will be in the end-time. A powerful earthquake causing great tsunamis (flood) will kill many and will bring World War 3 to its end.
With Satanic power (wing) the Antichrist (abomination of desolation) will then make a seven year treaty for the Israelites to migrate back to Israel to help build the temple of God in Jerusalem. The main objective is to destroy (desolate) their faith and apostate (abomination).
Angelic Protection for Israel
Dan 10:21 But I will tell you what is noted in the Scripture of Truth. (No one upholds me against these, except Michael your prince.)
So having understood the prophecies for Israel, Michael will ensure the safety and success of Israel until the prophecies are fulfilled.
