WW3 in Daniel 11
Dan 11:31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily [sacrifices], and place there the abomination of desolation
When the Mahdi (Antichrist) called for 'Jihad' not only Muslims (both Shia and Sunni) but also Russia, China and many other countries will send their ships and military to help the weak and helpless Iran from being annihilated by the wicked and mighty West, led by US.
they shall defile the sanctuary fortress
After the Mahdi has neutralised the invincible US Carrier fleets and the rebellions and sabotages of their Muslim military personnel on board crippled and destroyed these powerful fleets, that the Iranians and allies were able to enter and conquer Jerusalem (sanctuary fortress). This is God's vengeance on the faithless Israelites for signing the abominable PLO-Israel Peace Treaty in 1993.
Luke 21:20,22 "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near... For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled."
they shall take away the daily [sacrifices]
The original text does not have the word [sacrifices]. It can be daily 'function', or 'chores', or 'prayers'. [Sacrifices] was added because only Jews offered daily sacrifices in the temple of God. The temple of God was completely destroyed by the Romans in 70AD (2,000 years ago), and since then Jews could not offer any sacrifice at all.
Today, standing on the Temple Mount is the Al Aqsa Mosque, which calls Muslims to prayers (5 times daily).
[sacrifices] is best replaced by (call to prayer)
Note they shall take away the daily call to prayer' i.e the removal of Al Aqsa mosque.
Removal of Al Aqsa Mosque
The Mahdi (king of the North) having conquered Jerusalem for the Muslims will then deceive all mankind by proclaiming that Allah is happy with Jerusalem and He wants to live among His people in the temple of God.
Immediately the Muslims will remove the Al Aqsa Mosque to make way for the building of the abomination of desolation (temple of the Antichrist instead of temple of God), thus stopping Al Aqsa daily calls to prayer for the Muslims.

The abomination of desolation here refers to the temple of the Antichrist which will only be built after World War 3.
